Philosophy

With everyone staring at screens all the time, many of us feel isolated. Mitten Mixology sessions are limited to 28 people so guests can talk to each other and have a more intimate and engaging experience. We want our guests to learn something new & make friends.

Inspiration

Staci Lichterman from Pop Culture Travel, created Detroit Cocktail Camp after her “National Parks & Distilleries” road trip across America. After visiting craft distilleries from Texas to Kentucky, she wanted a way to learn more about liquor & mixology from local experts. Staci reached out to the bars & distilleries in the series, pitching Cocktail Camp, as a fun alternative for a cold, miserable, Michigan winter afternoon. The bars liked the idea and the series was born.

Now classes are back. Same producer, new name - Mitten Mixology. There are amazing bars, restaurants, distilleries and more throughout Michigan. Because of successful classes in Ann Arbor and Lansing as DCC, be on the lookout for events around the state.
